Depigmentation
Depigmentation: Depigmentation at Cherie Clinic is specifically designed to target the pigments in tattoo ink without causing significant damage to the surrounding skin.
Here's how laser tattoo removal works:
- Consultation: Before undergoing tattoo removal, the patient will typically have a consultation with our dermatologist or a practitioner specializing in laser tattoo removal. They will assess the tattoo, skin type, and medical history to determine the most appropriate treatment plan.
- Laser treatment: During the procedure, the laser emits high-intensity light pulses in very short durations. These pulses are absorbed by the tattoo pigments, causing them to break down into smaller fragments.
- Lymphatic system elimination: Once the tattoo pigments are fragmented, the body’s immune system works to remove these tiny ink particles. The lymphatic system gradually clears the ink from the area over time.
- Multiple sessions: Complete tattoo removal usually requires multiple treatment sessions, spaced several weeks apart. The number of sessions needed depends on various factors, including the tattoo’s size, ink colors, and depth.
